Hmmm--I've had a problem the last couple of times I tuned in your show from your website. It ran until it was about 15-20 percent into the show and stalled; it never started again. I'm downloading the .wmv format as I write this, but it seems to be taking an unusually long time.

I'm using DSL from Southwestern Bell, so maybe it's them; anyway, thought you should know. Nice show, you two!

Great Mac Mini review... but you really should mention ALL the fantastic software that comes included with Apple products!
Actually, you could do a whole segment on the software what you get with a Macintosh.

Nice glasses Tiffany!

The guy from Call For Help sued you? I agree with your comment about firefox not loading some pages such as the symatec online scan. I'm not certain it doesn't use active X are you sure it doesn't use it? You guys make some wierd comments, Tiffany likes Ben's butt?

Ben Fredman said:

No, or at least, not yet :-)... We merely asked the question as to whether he could get our MSN Hotmail records, like the Chinese gvt. did with Yahoo...

Can't comment about whether Tiff likes my butt. I'm certainly the 'butt' of all her jokes lately, however... :-)
Best,

Benjamin

Ben, given that email bounces around the Internet before ending up at your ISPs (or work) mail server, how can you be "sure" that your email is any more gone when using Outlook than when using a web-based email? Servers across the internet are being backed up. I don't think you can assume that your email isn any more "gone" than when using a web-based email.

Great vidcast. I heard you on Leo's KFI show and that got me to check out your work.

Love the show and I like all of the products that you review. It does seem however that the guy knows more than the girl.

Your comments regarding whether the person should buy a mac if their computer was old was uninformed.
Using bootcamp or parallels, you can run your windows programs on the new intel macs. And different macs come with great software bundles and possibly a discount on Office. The software might look "low end" but it is really quite powerful.
The mac mini comes with:
• Safari 2
• Mail 2
• Address Book 4
• iChat AV 3
• iCal 2
• Font Book 2
• DVD Player 4.5
• Preview 3
• Xcode 2
• iLife ’06
• iWork ’06 30-day trial
• Front Row
• Big Bang Board Games
• Comic Life
• OmniOutliner
The G5 tower comes with
• Safari 2
• Mail 2
• Address Book 4
• iChat AV 3
• iCal 2
• Font Book 2
• DVD Player 4.5
• Preview 3
• Xcode 2
• iLife ’06
• QuickBooks New User Edition
• Art Directors Toolkit
• FileMaker Pro Trial
• GraphicConverter
• OmniGraffle and OmniOutliner
• Microsoft Office 2004 Test Drive
• Zinio Reader
• Apple Hardware Test:

I too am a little dissapointed with your response to what computer the emailer should get(Apple vs. Windows). With the current problems with Windows software and the evergoing delay of Vistas release, Mac with its capability to use bootcamp would seem to be the most reliable computer to buy right now. Also could you in your email segment include comments about previous shows? Thanks. Great program.

I don't like using itunes and perfer ipodder. Do you have a audio only RSS feed that I can use for my iPodder client.
Also I have a suggestion for your opening video clip. When the big 3D title scrolls across the screen it appears as if the video is lagging although it is really not because right after the title the video plays fine. I would suggest making a smooth scroll so that your site does not appear like it is banwidth impaired. Nice work by the way. Your site looks the most profesional I have seen so far. I'm currently subscribed to about 10 feeds. One of my other favorites is DLTV. I think you may soon have the upper hand so keep it up.

I agree with the first poster.. the software that is included with the Apple is beyond basic, it is phenomenal. The learning curve is extremely small, and well worth the minimal effort to have a system and computer as great as Apple's. Ha ha, I laughed when Tiffany said a new Apple user would have to buy anti-virus software. Um, nope! :P

Don't get me wrong, you two have a great show, and I'm getting a crush on Tiffany. :D Keep up the fabulous work. I love your cartoon portraits too.

Howdy...
Thanks for the suggestions and comments. We're still new at this, so we take them all to heart!

I've added an audio-only itunes feed, and an audio-only RSS feed from the front page, which should make subscribing to the audio version much easier. Thanks for the suggestions.

Best,

Benjamin
