Concerning Tiffany's rant against HEPA filters. You demonstrate an amazing lack of knowledge. The point of the filter is to stop sending the stuff BACK into the air of the room you are cleaning. When you are finished doing all the rooms, you can go outside and empty the container, thus keeping your home free of the particulates that normal vaccuum cleaners send out into the air.
Howdy...
I don't think Tiff is debating what is 'supposed' to happen with the HEPA filter, just whether it's truly effective, and whether a 'spinning, self-cleaning' filter is even more effective, or just gimmicky...
I agree with the uselessness of the Hepa filters - 3 uses and they are clogged and your sucution going to waste and you never seem to get them clean again.

I've been running Windows Vista Beta and it works fine on older computers but you won't get the fancy Aero Glass features so it looks just like XP. It helps to have 1Gb of ram and a large hard drive but not necessary, it takes 9Gb of disk space to install it though! The code is all new compared to XP, based on Server 2003 I've heard, and has lots of security holes that haven't been found yet. To get the fancy Aero Glass look you've got to have an expensive new video card from ATI or Nvidia with at least 128Mb of ram that can run the special driver for Vista.
The biggest problem with Vista, besides the constant pop up messages asking you to verify everything you do, is there are not many hardware drivers and not much software that will work with it yet. Everything on my PC worked after installing it except the sound (I had to buy a new sound card since most older sound cards only have drivers for W95 and 98) but it did have drivers for the 1000 Mb ethernet card that wasn't supported by XP.

The CarMD looks somewhat useful since it displays the error code but there are a lot of units that are better such as Auto Enginuity's Scan Tool from autoenginuity.com or the OBDCOM for only $79 that shows all the engine data on the screen of your laptop so it's easy to tell which sensor is mal functioning or whatever and
can also clear error codes. http://www.obdcom.com/obd_software.htm
Many of the brands require purchasing a different model depending on which make of car you have, Ford, Chevy or import and the OBDCOM is only for imports.
I tried the Digimoto from digimoto.com with a loptop to show all the engine parameters while it was running. The adapter worked well but the software kept crashing and I got updated software but it wouldn't work at all so I ended up sendint it back. You can get just the adapter as a kit and run better software such as PCMSCAN from Palmerperformance.com.
There is also a stand alone unit, the ScanGauge that has it's own LCD screen and doesn't require a laptop but will display engine perameters while it runs for $169 from Scangauge.com.
BTW, the Digimoto version that I tried was the older model with a serial interface, not the mOByDic
they are currently selling.
While the serial model worked OK it was slow to update and the results were not quite in real time. I don't know how well the mOByDic works but a lot of other brands were faster. Also, it was quite an ordeal getting my money refunded under the 30 day guarantee even though I had Digimoto verify in advance that it could be returned if it was not satisfactory.
www.OBDCOM.com seems to have changed their system to support all cars now, for $89. Anyone have any experience with their tool?

Archos - Excellent, what iPod wishes it could be.
You guys rock! Great Show.
good show but what about the wifi?
So what about the Archos 604 Wifi? I'm contemplating between
the Nokia N800 and the Archos 604Wifi
Nokia seems to have the browser usability down, but short battery life, and no stereo line input for recording.

Hi. This "review" (of the H-4) was very, very bad. Where were the "..two points of view"? The answer is that there were no points of view. It was just a Samson promo ad, with two retarded sidekicks, giggling and making small talk about something they didn't seem to know anything about. Very informative. Thank you neocrap.
I agree with fuller. I need to know the real deal about stuff like this. Its great to see all the 'pro' goodies added with the good sampling rates, but I have a dicraphone that has all that and the sound sucks. Hows the sound? I say fire those two giggling schoolgirl white america know nothings and get some people who know how to ask the right questions without interrupting all the time and repeating eachother. Plus, I think we're all sick of star wars references....its been 30 years, we know!
You guys and dim wit gal talk over each other too much! Poor production value from rich kids that know nothing!
Oh my. Saw the link to this story so I watched. The device is fine at that price point but these hosts need to learn how to broadcast. First off you're both rude to the Sanson rep because you talk over him. First rule of radio or TV is don't talk over anybody - it's annoying to listen to, and you don't hear what is being said to follow up with something insightful. It's great that you're working at this IP TV project but just because you have the will and money to do it doesn't make it worth watching. You don't bring anything but noise to the table and therefore don't offer the product rep a good platform, nor do you ask the questions that the viewer might want asked. Do your research and learn to be professional if you want people to watch more than one of your segments.
wow I watched it despite the comments and this suxed
Not a complete waste of time...learnt nothing about the H4 but loads on poor interview technique! That bird needs to know when to STFU!!!
I want 9 minutes and 19 seconds of my life back. The Biff and Muffy interview team was horrible!
